In his neighborhood, he was known as the guy who couldn’t resist overhearing conversations, poking around in other people’s problems, or asking questions that no one wanted to answer. One evening, as the sun slipped behind the rooftops, Umut noticed two men arguing outside a closed shop. Their voices were low, but their gestures sharp and nervous.
